What are Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers?

Fuel cells and electrolyzers are electrochemical cells often used together to store and reproduce electricity. Fuel cells consume a fuel and oxidant to generate electricity. Electrolyzers consume electricity and water to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Unlike batteries, fuel cells store fuel outside the stack, so energy delivered is limited by external fuel, not what is sealed inside the cell.
