Catalysts

What are they?

XT catalysts are precious-metal, alloy, and non-precious electrocatalysts, supplied supported or unsupported. Uses include PEM and high-temperature PEM fuel cells, direct methanol and direct ethanol fuel cells, alkaline and AEM fuel cells, PEM and AEM water electrolysis, unitized regenerative fuel cells, and CO₂ electrolysis. Related uses include chlor-alkali and hypochlorite generation, electrochemical wastewater treatment, and electrochemical sensors.

Additional Catalysts

The same metals are available as unsupported blacks, oxides, and carbon-supported powders. Unsupported powders are used where the catalyst has to carry the reaction, including PEM anodes. Carbon-supported powders are used where a lower precious-metal loading is the goal.

Custom ratios, supports, and forms are made from a 5 gram minimum, for lab work and for scale-up. If you need a composition that is not in the catalog, request a quote.
